Afro Nation is said to be the “biggest beach festival dedicated to urban music in Europe” and covers music styles from afrobeat, hip hop, R&B to dancehall & bashment and will be placed at Praia da Rocha in Portimão.

With the postponement of the 2020 edition due to Covid19, Afro Nation is preparing to return from 1 to 3 July with a poster composed by some of the greatest artists of urban music.

In 2021, the Afro Nation poster is expected to feature performances by Chris Brown, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Skepta, Davido, Beenie Man, French Montana, Popcaan and many others artists.

In addition to the festival program, private parties are planned on the beach, boat parties and parties with renowned DJs are some of the options that will be offer.

The festival will take place on the beautiful sands at Praia da Rocha, Portimão the perfect spot to have an unforgettable weekend in Portugal.

According to the organization, the choice of Praia da Rocha in Portimão is due to the existing conditions that allow the holding of major events: accommodation, restaurants and bars and a location close to Faro Airport.
